Our client, a national tyre services group, is taking bold steps to decarbonise its UK operations. As part of a four-site renewable energy rollout, the company identified its Warrington facility as a key location to implement on-site solar generation, delivering immediate emissions savings and long-term energy resilience.
Following a competitive tender and carbon modelling by Lynx Energy and Carbon Assessors, Lynx Sustainable Solutions was appointed to deliver the project due to its technical capability, reliable delivery, and strong health and safety standards across live commercial sites.
The result is a 563 kWp rooftop solar installation, generating 474 MWh of clean electricity annually and offsetting 91 tonnes of carbon emissions annually.
The Warrington project serves as a blueprint for scalable, commercially viable decarbonisation, helping the business reduce operational costs, improve ESG performance, and future-proof its estate.
